Safety Town increases local children’s awareness of safety issues through the use of a miniature safety village and assorted demonstrations for area pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes. Some presentations include water safety, the correct way to wash your hands, fire safety, how to dial 911, etc. We also help record fingerprints for identification purposes if ever needed. The children get to take home a free bicycle helmet. This is our chapter’s oldest running project.
